MicroNeedling 101: What to Expect Before, During, and After
Share
MicroNeedling has become one of our most requested treatments at KIKI BEAUTY, and for good reason — it's a well-established professional treatment for supporting smoother, more even-looking skin over time.
What MicroNeedling Actually Does
The treatment uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which encourages the skin's natural collagen production process. Over a series of sessions, many clients notice improvement in the appearance of texture, fine lines, and acne scarring.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Sessions typically involve a numbing step for comfort, followed by the treatment itself. Some redness immediately afterward is completely normal and expected — it typically resembles a mild sunburn and settles within a day or so for most clients.
Aftercare Matters
What you do after MicroNeedling matters almost as much as the treatment itself. Skin is more receptive right after treatment, which is exactly why gentle, hydrating products make a real difference in the days that follow — and why harsh actives should wait. Our Post-MicroNeedling & Peel Recovery collection was built specifically for this window.
Is It Right for You?
MicroNeedling isn't one-size-fits-all, and a consultation helps determine whether it fits your skin and goals. Book a MicroNeedling appointment, or take our quick skin quiz on the homepage if you're not sure where to start.
